Background and rationale:
To maximize the usage of NORDUnet resources and minimize the cost of travel and the inherent pressure on our environment associated with airline travel NORDUnet has established a number of Video and Audio Conferencing capabilities that is highly utilized in day to day operation but which is also available for Conferences an Meetings within the global NREN Community.
NORDUnet Meeting Service
NORDUnet offer the NREN Community convenient meeting facilities in Copenhagen (Only 10 min walk from Copenhagen Airport) and in Central Stockholm
NORDUnet Video Conferencing Service
NORDUnet Audio Conferencing Service
NORDUnet offers Audio Conferencing Service in both Copenhagen and Stockholm.
The conference rooms are mainly reserved for NORDUnet Staff and Nordic NREN's but can be utilized on request by other NORDUnet Wordwide partners. The utilization of the NORDUnet Audio Conferencing Facility is a free service.
