The Zoom Lync plugin feature will allow Lync user 2010, 2013 and skype for business user to initiate a Zoom meeting from the Lync contact list.
Pre-requisites
- Zoom Client must be 3.5.16903.0522 or higher
- Zoom Lync plugin
- Windows 7 or higher
- Lync 2010 and 2013
Installation Procedure
- Install Skype for Business
- Install the Zoom Lync Plugin
- Install the Zoom Client
Note: You will need to restart the “Skype for business” in order for the plugin to take effect.
How to start a Zoom Meeting
Note: The following will require you to log into your Zoom account
- Open your Skype for business application
- Right click on the user you wish to video hold a meeting with
- Select the “Start Zoom Meeting” to start a Zoom meeting session with your contact.
How to start a Zoom meeting while in a Skype chat session
Note: The following will require you to log into your Zoom account
- Open a chat window with the user you with to chat with
- Select the "More Option" icon
- Click on "Start Zoom Meeting" to activate a Zoom meeting session with this user
