- Go to the equipment using the search bar or using the menu.
- If the equipment does not exist add a new equipment.
- Click Edit and then click the Location area.
- Use the drop downs to navigate to the correct rack and click save. If an equipment spans more than one rack the lowest tile space should be used.
It does not matter if the equipment already has a location set, a new location will replace it.

- In the left menu click Create new and choose External Equipment or ODF.
- Fill out the form and click Save. You will be sent to the newly created equipment.
- Click Edit and set the location.
- If you like you can add all the ports you need by clicking the Ports area. If you do this you will have to set the port type for all the ports after saving the equipment.
- Click Save.
