Super Jeep Activity and a Snowmobile Tour
A super jeep adventure will start with a pick up from the your hotel. The tour will then continue with a drive through Hvalfjordur fjord to the Borgarfjordur district one of the main agricultural district in Iceland. The first stop will be a visit to Deildartunguhver, Europe´s most powerful hot spring. Then a drive further inland to the Hraunfossar and Barnafossar waterfalls and on through the Husafell woodlands. At Husafell the tour will continue on the highland trail to Iceland´s largest ice field, Langjokull glacier. On the glacier there is an optional for a guided snowmobile tour for approx. 1 hour. Then a buffet lunch on the glacier. On the way back to Reykjavik the tour will drive through Kaldidalur valley, Iceland´s highest mountain track, on to Thingvellir National Park which is known for its exceptional beauty and historical importance.
