NORDUnet is organizing a T-MPLS/MPLS-TP workshop in April where representatives from Alcatel-Lucent will come to Denmark to present the latest news regarding this technology. Furthermore, this workshop will contain a Live TMPLS Demonstration.

The idea is to get a better understanding of the technology and Alcatel-Lucent's view about its future.

This workshop is of special interest as it would be subject of the research activities of Task 1 in JRA1.

NORDUnet would like to invite you to this workshop as we consider your participation of great value to us.

T-MPLS/MPLS-TP workshop

o Features (Comparison of Services in MEF 6.1 and MEF 10.1 with Services to be delivered in T-MPLS/MPLS-TP).

o Services that can be delivered.

o OAM capabilities.

o Redundancy and traffic engineering.

  • TMPLS Live Demonstration based on three NREN TMPLS enabled networks connected via CBF
  • Interoperability with current technologies like Ethernet, SDH.
